One of the best experience that I’ve ever had! You can eat the unique flavors of traditional Japanese cuisine in a minimalist restaurant, away from ostentation. The products are very fresh and premium quality. Especially their sukiyaki, sushi, udon and ice creams are incredible. I will visit again and again.

Service was amazing. Food was also tasty think we just order the wrong thing (too much sushi) would go for the hot set lunches next time. Was tasty and the fried ice cream was to die for

Close to the embassy. My Japanese friend brought me here two years ago and I’ve been thinking about finding an excuse to come back here :3 Simple family style, a bit pricy but reliable. The Kiku special was a nice sample of the quality food and came with great value. Yakitori is nicely marinated. Tempura is very light and I totally love the gooey eggplant and the pumpkin as well as the shrimp. The onigiri sushi’s are beautiful. I loved each one of them ^^ and the rice was good. I added an uni sushi. Ive had better uni but by UK standard it’s still decent. (Kazunoko is not available..) The neighboring table’s sashimi set looks gorgeous!! I’ll get that next time XD. Also didn’t notice last time 本店は城崎にあります?兵庫にいたら訪れてみたい

Amazing Japanese restaurant in the heart of Mayfair. Very friendly and welcoming with attentive and helpful staff. Regular seating on the ground floor but also sushi counter seating on the first floor/ mezzanine area. Eating at the counter is an experience and the chefs work with you at your own pace, guiding you through the menu. A place for a special occasion, but well worth it and highly memorable!

Absolutely excellent resturaunt. Has been in the neighbourhood for as long as I remember. Very kind staff. Appropriate interior. Can be expensive, but for the discerning customer, can find very high quality meals for surprisingly little. For a casual meal I highly recommend the gyu teriyaki, delicious!

Mayfair’s Kiku offers a taste of authentic Japan, albeit with some culinary inconsistencies that may leave seasoned Japanese food enthusiasts wanting more. However, the atmosphere is authentic and service is friendly and attentive. My meal included various dishes including sushi. Apart from the negi toro roll the food was okay. Unfortunately not the negi toro roll. Interestingly, the table next to me ordered a second round of the negi toro, suggesting a potential disparity in expectation or preparation. As someone familiar with the high standards of even budget-friendly izakayas in Japan, the quality at Kiku, particularly given its Mayfair location, didn't quite hit the mark I'm accustomed to.

One of the best Japanese restaurants in London. Been established for long time for a good reason. Price was on the pricey side but it reflects on the quality and freshness of the fish and food. If you want authentic and traditional Japanese food, this is the place. Staff were very detailed-minded and very welcoming.

Authentic Japanese Cuisine in London. We had a quick lunch on a weekday. The tonkatsu was very crispy at the outside yet juicy at the inside. The Unagi was very tender and full of flavor. The stuff members were diligent and respectful. The experience was very pleasant for us.
